Alton Fenton Ray, age 80 of Ward passed away February 18, 2011 in Little Rock. He was born December 21, 1930 in Etta Bina, Mississippi to the late Joseph Meek and Ruthie Jane Collier Ray.

He is also preceded in death by brothers Johnny and Carroll Ray sisters: Inez Oswalt and Velma Simpson.

He is survived by wife: Janet Ray of the home, two sons, Bradley Wayne Ray of El Paso, Bruce Allen Ray of Ward, daughters: Brenda Carol Ott of North Little Rock, Bonita Lynn Goodman of Ward, two brothers: Arthur Ray of Furlow, Le Roy Ray of Drew Mississippi, sisters: Mary Hollingsworth and Mildred Avant both of Water Valley, Mississippi, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, numerous other family friends and loved ones

Visitation Monday February 21, 2011 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M at the funeral home, Services: 11:00a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Oak Grove First Baptist Church, in Austin. Interment at Rest Hills Cemetery.
