Betty Lou Pruett Griffin, age 75, of Cabot, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2010 surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born the youngest of thirteen children on June 20, 1934 in Cabot to the late William Dallas Pruett and Nora Bell Mayfield Pruett.

Also preceeding her in death are her husband Paul E. Griffin; four sisters, four brothers and two infant siblings.

She left behind to cherish her memory, three children: David & Kathy Griffin of Fayetteville, Paula & Kevin Berry of Bowie, Texas and Kathy & Tim Edwards of Cabot; two sisters Bea Williford of No. Little Rock and Dolly Flanakin of Hot Springs; six grandchildren: Christopher & Teresa Griffin, William Paul Griffin, Daniel Griffin, Brittni & Mike Davis, Timmy Edwards, Jr. & JoPaul Edwards; one great-granddaughter Briana Griffin; special friend Linda Frazier; along with many other family members and dear friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Thomas Funeral Chapel in Cabot with interment immediately following at Mt. Springs Cemetery.
