Bobby Darnell Joyner, 87, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021.  He was born October 7, 1933 in Wynne to the late Harvey W. and Lois Lena Cattlet Joyner.  Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army.  After his military service, he worked for DuPont and Remington Arms for over twenty years. He enjoyed going to the lake and horseback riding, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Shirley and brothers, Harvey Joyner, Jr., Jessie Joyner, Sr. and Jerome Joyner and nephew, Glenn Joyner.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Nelda Joyner; sister, Shirley (Dan) Handy; sister-in-law, Rita Joyner, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 20, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Service.  Inurnment will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.  Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
