Bobby Thomas Vassaur of Pine Bluff, more recently of Cabot, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Cabot Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 10, 1925 to Robert H. And Annie Riddick Lancaster in the Troy community of Ouachita County, Arkansas.

She lived many years in Pine Bluff and was a member of the Church Of Christ.

Ms. Vassaur was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William E. (Gene) Thomas; and seven siblings.

She retired from AT&T and enjoyed her retirement years traveling with her husband, Joe Vassaur as a member of the Cotton Pickers RV club

She is survived by her husband Joe Vassaur of Pine Bluff, more recently of Cabot; her son Wayne (Terrie) of Russellville; son Raymond (Sandra) of Cabot; three grandchildren Matthew Thomas (Tami) of Cabot, Christy Kittinger (Brandon) of Vilonia and John Thomas (Shiane) of Slidell, LA; five great-grandchildren and a sixth great-grandchild expected to enter this world in March, 2012.

The family would like to thank the staff of Cabot Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as well as Arkansas Hospice for their loving care over the past three years.
