Bro. Milburn Doyle Spence, age 82 of Cabot, passed away June 14, 2011. He was born December 15, 1928 in Sylvania to the late Earl & Cynthia Spence.

Bro. Spence attended seminary school from 1954-1955. He retired from AMPI after working there for 35 years. He was a long time minister in the Cabot-Austin-Ward area and loved to hunt birds and deer and go fishing and loved working on his farm.

He is also preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy and Willie Ann.

He is survived by two daughters Lori Barger(Steve) of Ward and Lisa Moore(Duane) of Cabot; one sister Joyce White(T.C.) of Carlisle; and four brothers Guy Spence of Cabot, Earl K. Spence(Alice) of Austin, James Lon Spence(Marilyn) of Austin and Jerry Spence(Pearl) of Cabot; and two grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday, June 16, 2011 Sylvania Presbyterian Church with visitation prior to services at 9:00am. Internment will be at Sylvania Cemetery in Ward.
