Carlos Alvin Horness, 86 of Cabot, passed away January 29, 2017. He was born June 5, 1930 to the late Arlis & Mildred Horness.  He is also preceded in death by his brother J. A. Horness and son Gary Horness.

Carlos is survived by his daughter, Carol Bevis and daughter-in-law, Jo Beth Horness. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Charles Williams, Jason Williams, Greg Horness, Heather Graham, Hillary Sue, Casey Pena and Kyle Pena; and nine great-grandchildren, Tate, Keri and Ashlynn Williams, Garrison and Cameron Horness, Krossen and Hazel Lou Graham, Kooper Dean and Ethan Gordon; along with many other family members and friends.

Two of the highlights of his life were coaching baseball and building the seating for the first Cabot Panther Football Stadium. He also enjoyed his morning coffee and getting together with his old friends. They solved all of the problems of the world- at least he thought so.
