Carole Ruth Ard Stivers, age 64 of Jacksonville, loving mother and wife who always had a smile on her face, passed away on August 30, 2011. She was born November 26, 1946 in Little Rock to the late William Shelby Ard Sr. and Fannie Irene Stillman Ard. She was retired from Golden Years Nursing Home.

Preceded in death by husband, Larry Stivers Jr, sister, Mary Louise Daniels, and brother, William Shelby Ard Jr.

Survived by two sons, Larry Michael Stivers of Lonoke, Daniel Dewayne Stivers of Jacksonville, two daughters, Karen Denise Myers of Odessa, Texas, Shawn Marie Hoffard of Russellville, two grandchildren, Khristen Brooke Myers, Terri Denyse Myers of Odessa, Texas, two brothers, Robert Raymond Ard of Cabot, and Joseph Edward Ard of Alexander.
