Carolyn "Darlene" Goode, 69, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022.  She was born July 19, 1952 in Little Rock to the late John and Katie McClure Roach.  Darlene was a member of Vilonia Full Gospel Pentecostal Church since 1992.  She enjoyed singing, playing games, crosswords and trivia.  Darlene was strong-hearted and always had the perfect things to say.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Goode, Sr., one grandson, Owen Goode; two sisters and nine brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James (Lauren) Goode, Jr. and Jason (Melisa) Goode; seven grandchildren, Shayleena Lash, Jayme Goode, Michela Goode, Michael Goode, M.J. Goode, Mollianna Goode and Chealsie Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Goode, Jaxson Wargo and Lillith Lash; brother, Jesse Roach of Reno, Arkansas as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church with Pastor John Harris officiating.  Interment will follow at Mountain Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
