Carolyn Sue Long, 73, of Cabot passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was born on January 30, 1944 in Texarkana, Texas to the late Cliffton and Dorothy Headrick. She enjoyed ceramics and had a elephant collection from different countries of the world. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with her grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her son, James C. Long.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband, J.D. Long; her children, Jeffrey R. Long, Debra O. Franks; daughter-in-law Sherry Long; son-in-law Jimmy Dean Williams; her sister, Daretha Champion (Charles); five grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Amy Hayes (Daniel), Meghan, Alex, Stephanie and Christinia; six great-grandchildren, Lilly, McKenzie, Alaina, Daniel, Emma and Kylie.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., prior to the service. Memorial donations in memory of Carolyn can be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation.
