Charlene Thomason, age 66, of Cabot. Jesus decided on Saturday, December 27, 2008 to take Charlene Thomason, the most beautiful angel, home to be with Him. She was born September 10, 1942 in Sparkman to the late Charles & Evelyn Stevens.

She is also preceded in death by one son Joseph Todd Thomason.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband James Thomason of the home; two sons, Ronnie Thomason (Ruth) and Scott Thomason of Cabot; two daughters, Theresa Harris (Hershel) of Cabot and DeAnna Haas (Jeff) of Beebe; five sisters: Mary Cooper of London, Sharon Anders of Prattsville, Gail Owens of McGee, Eve Brooks of Sheridan and Lynn Anderton of Sheridan; two brothers Tommy Stevens of Sheridan and Chuck Stevens of Clarendon; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and dear friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Holiness Tabernacle 109 West Allison in Austin with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot with Brandon Riley, Doyle Strickland, Eric Goforth, Harman Rhine, Mike Goode, Howard Smith, Anthony Brooks and Chris Tomlinson as pallbearers.
