Charlotte Belle Hughes, age 80, of Cabot, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008. She was born January 26, 1928 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Guy Turner & Mary Crouch Turner.

She was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church for many years and member of the Eastern Star Cabot Lodge # 319.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Hughes, parents Guy & Mary Turner and two brothers.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son Jeff Hughes (Diana); daughter Rosemary Mahoney all of Cabot; two grandchildren: Cheryl of Cabot and Alicia of Oklahoma; one great-grandchild and two great-great-grandchildren of Cabot; one sister Vera York of Florida and one brother Lester Turner of Missouri.

At Charlotte's request, she will be interred at the National Cemetery in Little Rock with a Memorial Service in her honor being held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot with Bro. Paul Wooley officiating.
