Christine Lavone Allender Kerlan, 83, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 21, 2018 at her home. She was born January 22, 1935 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late Louis and Lillie Mae Boyd Adams. Christine loved cooking and shopping and she enjoyed getting her hair and nails done. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Grover Allender; her second husband, Victor Kerlen; two daughters, Patricia Allender and Tina Crockett; three sisters, Margaret Rainwater, Joann Webb and Harriet Abbot; four brothers, Bud Adams, Bill Dettweiler, Tom Adams and Richard Adams.

Survivors include three daughters, Lois Wilkerson, Becky (Willy) West and Tammy Decker; one son, Terry Allender; two step-sons, Robert and Jeff Kerlen; one step-daughter, Vicky Kerlen; sixteen grandchildren, Jeanna Davenport, Brian Cothren, Dennis Allender, Chrissy Hill, Beverly Cousins, Samuel Allender, Adam Brackett, Joseph Brackett, Jonathan Brackett, Amanda Palmer, Josh Decker, Tabitha Langley, Alisha Summerville, Misty Hancock, Chase Heinman and Patricia Heinman; thirty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kathleen Higgs, Carol (Art) Lane, and Doll Robbins; two brothers, Clarence Dettweiler and George (Gail) Davis, and many dear friends.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Family Worship Ministries, 10199 Heber Springs Road N., Concord, Arkansas 72523 with Pastor Dale Duke officiating.
