Clyde Lee Chamness , age 65, of Cabot, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2008. He was born August 12, 1942 in Helena, Arkansas to late Artie & Oma Chamness.

He worked as a Supervisor at Remington Arms and retired after 36 years.

Survivors include his wife Pamela D. Chamness of Cabot; one son Jason Chamness of Cabot; five daughters Heather Foster of Cabot, Michelle Sanders (Doug) of Carthage, Missouri, Diana Guffee of Jacksonville, Amber Hughes (Micah) of Cabot and Gina Freebe (Jan-Michael) of Lonoke; three sisters: Christine Dawson (Ed) of Willford, Mary Lou Davis (Leroy) of Cherokee Village and Edith Caldwell (Jimmy) of Pasadena, Texas; five brothers Fred Chamness (Ida Mae) of Manassas, Virginia, Mack Chamness (Carol) of Athena, Georgia, Bill Chamness (Mary Ann) of Bells, Tennessee, Jimmy Chamness (Barbara) of Tennessee, Reuben Chamness (Trina) of Springdale, Florida; sixteen grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am Friday, June 13, 2008 at Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. Interment will follow at Evans Cemetery.
