Darlene Wilson, age 58, of Jacksonville was promoted to Heaven February 23, 2016. She was born April 12, 1957 in Richmond, California to Tommie and Florance Marie Jackson.  She joins her mother, Florance Marie Jackson Smith; son, Dexter Lee Wilson and, sister Denise Knorr.

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, two sons Clyde Wilson and Douglas Edward Wilson, Jr.; father, Tommie Smith; sisters, Beckie Tyes, Carolyn Smith and Vickie Smith; brothers, Lonnie Roberts and Jeff Smith; ten grandchildren, Brittany White, Breanna Wilson, CJ Wilson, Brock Bell, Mason Wilson, D.J. Wilson, Heather Wilson, Aryanna Freeland, Braxton Wilson and Grace Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Ruby Wilson and Brooklyn Davis.

Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Life Tabernacle in Jacksonville at 2:00 PM with a time of visitation at 1:00 PM until service time. Interment at Mt Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
