Donald Leroy Lequieu, age 85, passed away from this life on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Jacksonville. Donald was born in Collegeville, Arkansas on February 21, 1933 to the late Henry and Edna Robertson Lequieu. He served in the United States Army and was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church. Donald was a hard worker and he never met a stranger. He loved western movies and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Jean Lequieu and his infant brother.

Donald is survived by his three children, Teddy (Shirley) Lequieu of Jacksonville,  Terry (Debra) Lequieu of Jacksonville and Tammy (Aaron) Sweat of Jacksonville; his sister, Imogene Conway of Mabelvale; his two brothers, Robert Lequieu of Benton and Leonard Lequieu of Bryant; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at New Horizon Baptist Church, 13018 Hwy 31 North in Ward with Brother Kevin Bernard officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Service, (501) 947-7888.
