Dorothy Jean Grissom Staley, age 73 of Ward, passed away May 29, 2011. She was born July 23, 1937 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late William & Gladys Meyers.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Staley; two brothers Warren Myers and Willard Myers; grandson Kevin Berry; and great-grandson Kaleb Thames.

She is survived by her eight children Billy Edward Grissom, Jr.(Abbie) of Ward, Myra Haugerud(Chris) of Gulfport, Mississippi, Robert Grissom of Florida, Vicki Coyle of Ward, Joe Staley(Vera) of Cabot, Randy Staley(Deb), Ginger Tarno(Bobby) both of Ward and Connie Shaffer(Loren) of Kennsett.; ten siblings Bill, Wayne, Jerry, Joe and Johnny Myers, Neva Slusher, Mary Sheppard, Sarah Murry, Marie Glunt and Lora Melton all of Indiana; 21 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Graveside Services will be held 10:00am Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Dogwood Cemetery in Griffithville, Arkansas.
