Douglas Wayne Pearson, Sr., age 58, of Cabot, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2008. He was born June 15, 1949 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Charles & Helen Pearson.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles Douglas Pearson and one sister.

Survivors include his wife Jeannie Pearson of the home; four children: Jennifer Pearson Bowman (Aron) of Tyler, Texas, Patty Pearson of Abeline, Texas, Douglas Pearson, Jr. (Mary Alice) of Athens, Texas, and James McCrary (Margie) of Cabot; his mother Helen Brown Pearson of Hemphill, Texas; one brother Charles Pearson of Florida; mother-in-law Claudia Ground of Cabot; and eight grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
