Edward Berry Dyer, age 87, of Jacksonville, formerly of Blytheville, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009. He was born July 30, 1922 to the late James B. Dyer & Ethel Scott Dyer in Jackson, Tennessee.
He is also preceded in death by his wife Thelma Virginia Dyer; son Hubert Wayne Kemp; two sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his daughters Delores Medders of Hernando, Mississippi and Patsy West of Blytheville; his sons David Dyer (Teressa) of Jacksonville and Richard Kyle of Blytheville; sister Sarah Nimmo of Jackson, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
A time of visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 30, 2009 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Chapel with interment scheduled for 3:00 pm at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his hospice nurse Evelyn and his hospice caretaker Brenda.
