Edward Melvin Stidham, age 74, of Cabot, went to meet the Lord May 14, 2008. He was born June 25, 1933 in Eureka Springs to the late Edward Arthur Stidham & Florence Taylor Morrison.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Tabor Stidham of Cabot; one daughter Lori D. Stidham of Maumelle; one sister Mildred Jones of Bentonville; and one brother William Arthur Stidham of Eureka Springs; along with many other family members and friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 2:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday, May 15, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 am Friday, May 16, 2008 at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in Sherwood with Pastor Larry Burton and Rev. Ben Leonard officiating.
