Eva Mamie Johnson, age 92, of El Paso, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010. She was born August 4, 1917 in Sonoma, California to the late William & Genevive Church.

She is also preceded in death by her husband H.W. Johnson; daughter "Dolly" Mayfield and son Alfred Johnson.

During WWII, she worked in the shipyards, working for Bancroft for many years and retiring from Jacksonville Manor.

She is survived by 5 daughters Frances Roach of El Paso, Alice Mayfield of Cabot, Eva(Jimmy) Roach of Rusk, Texas, Helen(Harvey) Moore of Mt. Vernon, Missouri & Barbara Pakay of Russellville; 4 sons Junior Johnson of Cabot, Willie(Carolyn) Johnson of Lonoke, Charles Johnson of McComb, Oklahoma & Clifford(Eva) Johnson of Cabot; half sister May Jane Church of California; 47 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; & great-great-grandchildren, along with other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00pm May 23, 2010 at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe with Funeral Services immediately following at the church. Interment will be at Mt. Springs Cemetery in Cabot.
