Eva Carolyn Meeks, 93, of Cabot passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was born October 17, 1923, in Little Rock, AR to the late Henry Jacob and Mildred Fredrica Hilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, James (Bill) Marion Meeks; sister, Betty Ann Conder; and brother-in-law, Jack Dempsey Conder. Eva retired from the Safety and Responsibility Section of the State Revenue Department. After retiring she volunteered at Southwest Hospital for a number of years.

Eva is survived by her daughter, Janice Meeks Hartman (Paul) of Cabot; granddaughters, Briana Hartman of Denver, CO, Carol Hartman-Grinstead (Kevin) of Cabot, AR; great-granddaughter, Rilynn E Weeks; four nephews, Carl Renken of Ulm, AR, Glen Hirscheider (Marty) of Lonoke, AR, Richard Scott (Stella) of Marshall, AR, and Ronald Scott of Cheyenne, WY; four nieces, Jessie Furrier of Little Rock, AR, Pat Stauber of Furlow, AR, Nancy Davis of Furlow, AR, and Judy Blacklock of Beebe, AR; several cousins, great nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Lonoke Health and Rehab for their loving kindness in the care of Ms. Eva.

Graveside services will be Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park and Gardens, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR.
