Ferris John "Jack" Lemke, 38, of Cabot, passed Wednesday, August 25, 2021 with his wife by his side. He fought a long hard battle against cancer, he put up the hardest fight that anyone could, he was the strongest person any of us knew. He was a loving husband and father, and a hard worker. He would help anyone that needed it. He loved his family, hunting, cooking and his beagles.

Jack was born July 29, 1983 in Middletown, New York to Walter and Nanette (Cokelette) Lemke. He graduated from Hall High School, played college football, and was still pursuing higher education. He was a long-time employee of Caterpillar and appreciated everything his coworkers have done to help his family recently.

Jack is survived by his wife, Brooke (Westmoreland) Lemke of Cabot; their newborn son, Luke Lemke; his mother, Nanette Lemke of Cabot; sister, Heather and her wife, Christine Schneider of Germany; brother, Walter and his wife, Patricia Lemke of Jacksonville; niece, Katie Dodson; nephews, Jeffrey Lemke and Matthew Schneider and mother and father in-law, Lisa and Charles Westmoreland of Jonesboro.

Due to concerns about COVID, private memorial services will be held for Jack on Friday, September 3, 2021 in Cabot, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations for their newborn son can be given to:  Centennial Bank using the name Brooke Lemke until an account can be set up for the baby.  Cremation arrangements by Thomas Funeral Services, 713 S. 2nd St., Cabot, AR 72023.
