Franklin "Buddy" Herrod, Jr., 74, passed away on February 18, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  "Buddy" was born on January 16, 1944 in Beebe, Arkansas to the late Henry and Ella Herrod.  "Buddy" loved hunting, fishing and horse riding.  He loved God and preached to family and friends about God's salvation.  He was a master carpenter and an excellent shot, but most of all, "Buddy" was a great daddy and Papa.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Kitt Weathers.  Survivors include his daughter, Leah (TJ) Nugent; grandchildren, Hayden Herrod Nugent, Harley Nugent and Nikki (AJ) Davis; daughter, Amber Harrison; grandchildren, Kori (Cody) Alexander and Kaylee Harrison; brother, Roland (Peggy) Herrod; sister, Alonda (Joe) McGraw; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Service chapel.  Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. preceding the service.  Interment will be at Beebe Cemetery.  Pastor Lee Mote will officiate.
