Fred Norman Richards Jr., age 43 of Cabot, passed away on May 29, 2013. He was born November 21, 1969 in Chickapee, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Norman Richards Sr.

Fred was an outdoorsman and loved spending as much time as possible outdoors. He was very family oriented and spent as much time as possible with his family. Fred was a driver for Razorback Concrete and very much enjoyed working for them. Everyone who met Fred was blessed to have known him.

Fred took great pride in defending his country as he was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Gulf War after which he enlisted with the Army National Guard and was attached to unit #817 until his sudden passing on May 29, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Richards of the home; mother, Janet (Tony) Gasbarro of Chickapee, Massachusetts; two children, Ryan Richards and Matthew Richards both of Columbus, Ohio;two step-children; one sister, Kim Vincour of Chickapee, Massachusetts; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.
