Garland Wayne Williams, 84, of Cabot, passed away October 24, 2025. He was born February 11, 1941 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Garland Harrison Williams and Julia King Williams. Garland "Bo" was a long time resident of Cabot and attended Cabot Public Schools. As a teen, he worked for Kilgore Truck Stop where he developed mechanical skills and a love of automobiles. In 1961 he began working as a machinist at Orbit Valve in Little Rock and retired in 2003 as a Supervisor. He had a passion for collecting coins and always searched for the "mint errors" that were released. Bo was an avid fisherman, loved being outdoors and camping. He enjoyed watching Razorback sports with his favorite being the softball team. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Louise Waymack Williams; sister, Ann Williams Goldman, and brother, Ricky Lee Williams.
Bo is survived by his children, Greg Williams, Beverly Williams, and Misty Williams Taylor (JJ); his brothers, JW Williams and John Williams (Dana); sister, Pam Williams McCoy (Kent); grandchildren, Bryson Williams and Ashton Williams Zuber (Tyler), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cabot Animal Support Services.
