Gary Reginald Matheny, 72, of Ward, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022.  He was born August 19, 1949 in Beebe to the late Jack and Jackie Levalle Matheny.  Gary was a member of Cornerstone Church and a former Ward City Councilman.  He enjoyed lawn work and was a truck driver by trade.  Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his children, Terri (Cliff) Cole, Greg Matheny, Todd (Alma) Matheny and Gary D. Matheny; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael Matheny, Jack Matheny and Darlene Newman and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
