Guy D. Spence, age 90 of Ward, passed away April 27, 2012. He was born February 22, 1922 in Arkansas to the late Earl A. & Cynthia Spence.

He is also preceded in death by wife Fern Stevenson Spence; wife Emma Jean Smith Spence; brother Bro. Milburn Spence; sisters Dorothy Cates and Willie Ann Spence; Grandson Rodney Spence; great-grandson Seth Allen McMurtry; and step son Lindy Smith.

He is survived by children Mike Spence (Sharon) of Austin, Doris Raymond of Sherwood, Janice Duncan (Frank) of Quitman, Deborah Hodges (Loyd) and Terry McMurtry (Harold) of Austin; step children Harold Smith, Diane Mayhair and Donna Callison (Larry) all of Cabot; siblings Earl K. Spence (Alice), James Lon Spence (Marilyn), Jerry Spence (Pearl) and Joyce White (T.C.); 8 grandchildren James McMurtry, Shawn Raymond, Randy Raymond, Keith Duncan, Tina Griffin, Angela Cooper, Dawn Lewis and Holly Hodges; 16 great-grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 15 step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.

Visitation 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at Christ Worship Center in Cabot. Interment at Concord Cemetery.
