Helen Lorraine Siegel, 77, of Austin, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born November 23, 1947 in Boone, Iowa to the late Oscar Simon and Burniece Iola (Burnett) Siegel. Ms. Siegel was dedicated to her calling as a nurse, a career that spanned fifty years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, macramé and tending to her flea market booth. She was also an avid traveler, with a special fondness for cruises.

Survivors include her siblings, Jeanne Siegel Luhr Helms Roberts of Cabot, Sidney and Oscar Siegel both of Higdon, and Holly Kerr of Austin. Other survivors include nephews and nieces, Karl and Kevin Luhr, Claudia McCain, Jeanne Kerr Ulmer, and Melinda Kerr along with many other family and numerous friends.
