Herbert Marvin "H.M." Burton, age 81, of Austin, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Jacksonville. He was born May 9, 1929 in North Little Rock, to the late Harry & Nora Burton.

He is also preceded in death by his wife Mable Louise Burton; son Daniel Patrick Burton; three brothers and one sister.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter Lois Hammon (Ricky) of Austin; two grandchildren: Jessica Murdock (Eddie) of Austin and Ricky Hammon II (Heather) of Morrilton; one great-grandchild, William Murdock of Austin; and two sisters JoAnn & Dorothy; along with many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held 4:00–8:00 pm on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Thomas Funeral Service. Graveside Service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Austin with Bro. David Waltrip officiating.
