Hubert Lynn Morris, loving husband and father, of Cabot, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the age of 67. He was born August 30, 1940 in Lonoke County to the late Hubert Daniel Morris & Mary Elizabeth Derden-Morris. He was a life long farmer in the Sandhill Community of Lonoke County and a long time member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Wilkerson Morris; a son Daniel Morris of Cabot; daughters, Melynda Gamache (Joseph) of Cabot, Glenda Wilson (Harry) and Charmin Brooks (Scott) of Abilene, Texas, Christy Lustig (Gary) of Okinawa, Japan; step-son Rob Fletcher of Cabot; step-daughters Rhonda Couch (Randy) and Cindy Yates (Tommy) of Cabot; three sisters, Jettie Moore and Anita Weathers of Cabot and Jolene Smith of Fort Smith; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 from 1:00 to 9:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Bro. Paul Woolley officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Glover Cemetery in Lonoke with Adam Fletcher, Alex Fletcher, Jason Fletcher, Barry Weathers, Larry Weathers and Timmie Travis as Pallbearers and Lynn Taylor, Joe Glover, Jerrall Smith, Garland McDonald and Tom Fortner as Honorary Pallbearers. 2nd St. Cabot, (501) 941-7888.
