Jacob Matthew Hammonds, age 18, of Austin, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2008. He was born June 26, 1989 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Matt & Kim Hammonds.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Elmer Holland & Eldon Pharris and Martha & Preston Hammonds and many friends.

Survivors include his father Matt Hammonds & mother Kim Hammonds of Austin; two brothers Jonathan & Zachary Hammonds of Austin; one sister Britini Reveley (Richard) of Cabot; 2 Nieces; grandparents: Sheroll & Larry Pharris of Austin and Sharon & Preston Hammonds of Memphis, Tennessee; Great Grandparents Vera Holland, Eddie Pharris & Alberta Stanford; the love of his life Courtnie Christensen; a host of friends & cousins who loved him very much; a very special little man in his life Blane Henry; along with many other family members and dear friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Cabot with Bro. Jim Edwards & Bro Robert Osborne officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Old Austin Cemetery in Austin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to the Jacob Matthew Hammonds fund be sent to Bank of the Ozarks in Cabot.
