James Franklin Cheatham, age 34, of Lonoke, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008. He was born March 27, 1974 in Little Rock to the late Robert Herschel Cheatham and Marcia Jean Overton Cheatham.

He is survived by his son Daniel Cheatham of Keo; one brother Mike & Clara Hughes of Keo; one sister Lisa & Jeff Goodman of Scott; two nieces, Melissa Goodman & Caitlyn Hughes; two nephews, Andrew Goodman and Michael-Ryan Hughes; uncles, James Overton of Beebe and Boyd Overton of Paragould; along with many other family members and friends.

The Family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff and residents of Golden Years Manor. James could not have had better friends and he considered you all his family. James loved each and everyone of you and we know you are crying with us at this time of our loss.

Because of his will power and strength, James has shown us that anything can be overcome. That will power shows in his son Daniel everyday. His humor and sarcasm will be missed and he will never be forgotten.

Graveside Services will be held 10:00 am Friday, August 15, 2008 at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.
