James Carrol DeBoser, 63, of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2020 in Sherwood. He was born December 28, 1956 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Savannah Frances Bevill and to the late John Clinton (JC) DeBoser. James was an avid race car driver. He loved spending time with family and friends at the race track or in the shop. He was a lifelong mechanic and could always be found tinkering on anything that had an engine. He also loved fishing, hunting and being in the outdoors. In addition to his father, James was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Bevill; grandparents, John E. DeBoser, Mattie Bratton, Cleo and Juanita Hall.

He is survived by his mother, Savannah Bevill; brother, Jerrell L. (Shari) Bevill; sister, Sharron F. Billington; son, Jason C. (Robin) DeBoser; granddaughter, Page N. DeBoser; two nephews, Lawrence (Kelsey) Billington and Robert Billington; one step-parent; step-siblings and a host of extended family and friends.

The DeBoser family will have a memorial service at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot, (501) 941-7888.
