James Leroy Taylor, 82, of Conway, departed this life Thursday, June 16, 2022.  He was born November 10, 1939 in Cabot to the late Finis and Essie Head Taylor.  James was a faithful supporter of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  He enjoyed anything about cars. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Carlis "Mickie" Taylor; brother, William F. Taylor; sister (stillborn in 1943); daughter, Cynthia Taylor and son, James (J.T.) Taylor.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Taylor (Tanya) and Timothy Taylor (Tiffany), all of Conway; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022 at Thomas Funeral Service.  Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 6470 Hwy 89 South in Cabot with Pastor Woody Evans officiating.  Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
