J anet Lee Ray, 90, of Ward, passed from this life Sunday, December 24, 2023. She was born Thursday, August 31, 1933 in Alton, Illinois to the late James Henry and Charlotte Mae Sunderland Riley. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a retiree from Remington Arms. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Ray and her siblings, Frances Lorene Riley, Myra Jean Meyers and Eleanore Johnson.

Janet is survived by her children, Brenda Carol Ott, Bradley Wayne Ray (Marilyn), Bruce Allen Ray (Jeralin) and Bonita Lynn Goodman (Jim); eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
