Janice Marie Young, age 57, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008. She was born September 14, 1951 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Ed Willeford & Juanita Bridges Phillips.

She is survived by her husband Willie Young, Jr. of Carlisle; two daughters, Karen Hall of Cabot and Donna Young of Carlisle; three brothers Charles O'quinn, Ronnie Willeford & Ray Colbert; four sisters, Barbara McIntire, Faye Duke, Brenda Bonham & Mary Travis; two granddaughters Bethany & Brittany Hall of Cabot; along with other family members and friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 2:00 to 9:00 pm on Saturday, December 20, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Thomas Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Carlisle.
