Jason Daniel Wise, age 30, of Ward, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009.

He was born May 6, 1979 in San Jose, California to Daniel Wise and Valerie Jimenez Wise.

In 2004 Jason joined the U.S. Army National Guard. His home unit 206th was based in Clarksville. He served as a Combat Engineer with two deployments in Iraq with the 875th and with the 39th units respectively.

Survivors include his wife Kimberly Reena Davis-Wise of Ward; two children, Emily Nicole Wise and Jonathan Paul Sowell of Ward; father & step-mother Daniel & Vickie Wise of Cabot; mother Valerie Wise of Austin, Texas; one brother Edward Dean Wise (Michelle) of Cabot; two sisters: Alisha Marie Hall (Brian) of Cabot and Jolene Keillor of Magelia, California; along with numerous other family and friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2009 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot. Funeral Services and burial will be private. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service 713 So. 2nd St. in Cabot (501)941-7888.
