Jeffrey Michael Hertzog, age 38 of Cabot, went to be with his Lord August 18, 2011. He was born September 28, 1972 in Ft. Rucker, Alabama, to John Richard and Theresa Marie Hertzog.

He graduated from Cabot High School in 1990. He was an Eagle Scout and served in the U.S. Air Force in support of operation Desert Shield, and Desert Storm.

Jeffrey is survived by one daughter, Kailyn Elizabeth Hertzog, of Sommerset, Kentucky; father and mother, John and Theresa Hertzog of Cabot; two brothers, Jeremy (Tara) Hertzog of Stuttgart, and Dr James (Dr Charity) Hertzog of Austin. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 22, 2011, 6 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church, Jacksonville.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at St Jude's Catholic Church.
