Jerome Joyner, age 71, formerly of Jacksonville, passed away in Henderson, Nevada, on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. He was born January 18, 1939 in Wynne, Arkansas to the late Harvey & Lois Catlett Joyner.

He is also preceded in death by his wife Billie Price Joyner.

He is survived by his step-daughter Cindy Long of NLR; step-son Victor Ferguson of Scott; three brothers, Harvey Joyner, Jr. (Rita) of Cabot, Jessie Lee Joyner of Jacksonville & Bobby Joyner (Nelda) of Jacksonville; 2 sisters, Helen Shirley of Jacksonville & Shirley Handy (Dan) of Gravel Ridge; and one step-granddaughter Beth Long and one step-grandson Billy Wayne Ferguson; along with other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday April 12, 2009 at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock with Bro. Ben Leonard officiating.
