Jessie Mae Davis, age 75, of North Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2008. She was born March 8, 1933 in the Magness Creek area of Lonoke County to the late James Earet Finley, Sr. and Flossie Ann Finley.

She is also preceded in death by her husband James Franklin Davis, Sr.; one daughter Linda Gail Davis; two grandsons David and James Davis; two brothers, Arle Finley and James Earet Finley, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Finley and Ollie Jean Fisher.

She is survived by eight children: Deborah Ann Thomas of Cabot, David Neil Evans of DeWitt, Laura Delilah Dussex of Cabot, Jimmy Franklin Davis of North Little Rock, Charles Michael Davis of Jacksonville, James A. Davis of Hot Springs, Larry Davis of North Little Rock, and Vicki Norman of Sherwood; two sisters, Martha Ann Hancock of Las Vegas, Nevada and Helen Louise Finley of Conway; two brothers, Charles Edward Finley of Cabot and Johnny Mack Finley of Jacksonville; nineteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 12:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Grissard Cemetery in El Paso.
