Joe Edward Smith, age 50 of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2014 in North Little Rock. Born October 21, 1964 in Little Rock.

He is preceded in death by son: Joe Edward Smith II, parents: Bobby Glenn and Goldie Ellen Hargrove Kelly.

He is survived by three sons: Jason Glenn Smith of Beebe, Justin Allen Smith of Malvern, Mark Cross of Searcy, daughter: Nanette Cross of Cabot, three sisters: Linda Mealler of Lonoke, JoEllen Shell of Alexander, Shirley Stratton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three brothers: Chuck Stratton of Cabot, Rick Smith of North Little Rock, Billy Stratton of Dallas, Texas, special friend: Conchita Cross of Cabot, six grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Service. Services will be held at Covered in the Blood Ministries in Cabot on Friday, 10:00 am. November 14, 2014. Interment services 3:00pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Center Ridge.
