John Doyle Henson, age 55 of Hickory Plains, passed away April 9, 2012. He was born August 12, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jack & Cathy Henson.

He is preceded in death by his son Jonathan Carrol Henson; father Jack Henson; and two grandmothers. He also was a member of the New Horizon Baptist Church and previously worked for the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

He is survived by his wife Marie Henson of Hickory Plains; mother Cathy Henson of Little Rock; sister Leslie Brown of Little Rock; and seven nieces & nephews Courtney Brown of Virginia, Madison, Katie, Mary Margaret & Spencer Brown all of Little Rock and Kristina & Timothy Borderlon of Des Arc; along with a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the funeral home from 3-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 12, 2012 at New Horizon Baptist Church in Ward with interment at Hickory Plains Cemetery.
