John Alfred Stevens Jr. of Beebe went to be with the Lord June 29, 2015. He was born March 18, 1953 in Elgin, Illinois to the late John Alfred and Hilda Johnson Stevens Sr.

He is preceded in death by a wife Diane Lynn Stevens; grandson Jackson Tyler; special nephew James Roberts; brother-in-law Dusty Mahoney.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca Stevens of Beebe; daughter Nina (Nick) Graham of Jacksonville; sons John Stevens III and Joseph Stevens both of Beebe; sisters Barbara Mahoney of Romance, Kathy Wilkes of Vilonia, Brenda (Don) Lewis of McRae, Ruby (Gene) Danner and Theta (Mariano) Chavez both of Cabot; brother Terry (Michelle) Stevens of Austin; grandchildren Skyla and Jose Campos, Marcus, Jina and Katelynn Stevens and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday July 1, 2015 from 6:00– 8:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Chapel in Cabot. Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 2, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Ward. Interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Jacksonville.
