John F. Wiens, age 79 of Cabot, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. He was born November 17, 1930 in Grant Town, West Virginia to the late John Carl Wiens and Rella Wiens Upton. He worked for 41 years for Club Products/Regal Ware before retiring in 1995.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife Rita L., son Paul M., in-laws Harold & Mae Kincell and sister & brother-in-law Ann and Paul McCoy.

He is survived by his children Jackie of Cabot and John C. & wife Jenny of Lonoke, Carolyn of Texas, siblings Eva (Leon) Sharp of West Virginia, Carl ( Carolyn) Wiens of Ohio, Linda (Roy) Willis of Florida. Also Surviving John are his two "best buddies" grandchildren John Riley Wiens and Elizabeth Rella Wiens of Lonoke, his little dog Ginger and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the funeral home. Services will be 10:00am Friday, July 30, 2010 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with interment immediately following at Hicks Cemetery.
