Joyce W. Wingate, 83, of Cabot passed from this life on May 10, 2019. She was born July 26, 1935 in Hopewell, Arkansas to the late Sherman F. and Onie Smith Parish. Mrs. Wingate was a member of Christ Worship Center. She enjoyed gardening and garage sales but found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Donny Watson; grandson, Chad Watson; and brother, Toy Parish.

Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-five years, Charlie Wingate; children, Phyllis (Roger) Henry of Searcy, Steve Watson of Cabot, Tommy (Pam) Wingate of Ward, Richard Wingate of East End; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren with one on the way; one great-great grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Thomas Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Romance Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, (501) 941-7888.
