Kathern Irene Valdez, 60, of Cabot, passed from this life on Wednesday April 15, 2020 in the comfort of her home. Kathy was born June 11, 1959 and grew up in Bowie, Texas. She was the manager of the Super 8 Motel in Cabot for the past 20 years. She always made sure family came first. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Irene Pritchard Hawkins; brother, Arthur Hawkins Jr. and sister, Debra Hawkins Curnutte.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Valdez of Cabot; three children, Tammy (Lamont) Arnett of Altus, Oklahoma, Thomas Valdez Jr. and Ashley Valdez, both of Sherwood, Arkansas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two siblings, Robert Hawkins and Sarah Hawkins.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, (501) 941-7888.
