Leverta Louise Blackmon age 77 of Ward went to be with the Lord Wednesday April 29, 2015. She was born in Enola, Arkansas to the late Davis and Stella McDowell Rickett, She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved spending time with her family she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Franklin Blackmon.

She is survived by her son Jerry Gossett of Ward; three grandchildren Laura Lea Gossett- Ramirez and husband Lou, Lacy Marie Gossett and Jeremy Lee Gossett; five great-grandchildren Marleigh Gossett, Aidin Griggs, Brianna Staley, Hunter Hicks and Alyssa Gossett; one sister Anita Charette; one brother Britton Rickett and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 2, 2015 from 12-2 p.m. at Jerry Gossett residence 13218 Hwy 31 North Ward, Arkansas. (501) 259-8441
