Linda Gail Kennedy, age 61, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord peacefully at home while surrounded by her family on Sunday June 20, 2010. She was born May 30, 1949 to Elvis and Willene Hawkins in Wynne. Linda Gail was a member of Grace Point Pentecostal Church in Beebe.

She was preceded in death by her father Elvis Hawkins; and her brother; Ricky Hawkins and Dewayne Hawkins; a sister Caroline Eslick; and a daughter Sheila Marchella Cowan.

She is survived by her husband Roger Kennedy Sr.; sons: Lee (Angie) Cowan, Roger (Linda) Kennedy Jr., Scotty Kennedy; daughter Crystal (Jeremiah) Nunnally; sisters Brenda Sue Hillman and Rosie Nichols, Vickie Brower and her mother. Best known as "Nana" she had six grandchildren, Kayla, Ashley, Brandy, Danny, Jamie and Kaitlyn; and seven great grandchildren Erin, Cody, Morgan, Tristen, Skylar, Christopher and Johnathan; along with countless nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 8:30 till 10:00am at Thomas Funeral Service at 713 South Second Street in Cabot. Graveside Services will be 10:30am Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Hwy 89 & 321 in Cabot with Rev. Rich Price officiating. Acting as pallbearers are Danny Lindler, Cody Denham, Steve Goodson, Will Kiesling, William Brown and Bob Latourrette.
