Linda Faye McCord, 62, of Ward, passed away July 20, 2018 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born March 14, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John Archie and Hester Muriel Grimes Hackler. Linda loved Mickey Mouse, yard sales and barbeques with her family. Her grandchildren were her world and she "loved them big". She had a beautiful heart and during her life, she took multiple children in her care and gave them a home. Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Loftis; sister, Carolyn Little; three brothers, Ralph, Robert and Doyle Fay Hackler; and, son-in-law, Jason Vincent.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years; four daughters, Tena (Marc) Easter of Ward, Shirley Vincent of Cabot, Debbie (Ricky) Waller of Ward, and Diane (Matt) Bursott of Cabot; one brother, Muriel (Shirley) Hackler of Lonoke; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Service with Brother Ron Marlin officiating. Pallbearers will be Ricky Waller, Roy Colbert, Greg Sutton, Derrick Swinton, Robert Easter and Tanner Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Easter and Nick Sutton.
