Linda Sue Smith, 73, of Cabot passed away Friday, July 10, 2020. She was born November 2, 1946 in Little Rock to parents William Robert and Effie Mae (Chalk) Henry. Linda was of Baptist faith and enjoyed studying the Bible and listening to the late Dr. Arnold Murray of Shepherd's Chapel Church in Gravette, Arkansas. She worked 20 years collecting rent for Smith Properties. She handled the daily calls, coordination of rentals, evictions and repairs. Many of those years she denied a salary. She did this so her son and family could enjoy many vacations and weekend trips to the lake. Her hobbies included reading and crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Dean Massey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Allen (Pam) Smith; her two granddaughters, Amanda and Alexandra Smith and her three sisters.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 in the chapel of Thomas Funeral Service with Pastor David O'Dell officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Austin. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
